We are delighted to share that the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sagar Group of Institutions - SISTec Ratibad, successfully organized an insightful session under the GREAT Talk Series on 26th February 2026.
In association with the British Council and the University of Sheffield, the expert lecture on “Building a Greener Tomorrow: The Future of Sustainable Steel Production” was delivered by Dr. Richard Thackray, Senior Lecturer, University of Sheffield.
The session provided valuable global perspectives on sustainable steel technologies, decarbonization strategies, and the future roadmap toward greener industrial practices. Our students and faculty members gained deep insights into emerging research trends and international best practices in sustainable manufacturing.
