Computer Science is just not about syntax & coding, it makes a difference in people’s life by developing applications.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SISTec-E offers an undergraduate (B.Tech) programme of four years and post graduate (M.Tech.) programme of two years in Computer Science and Engineering.

The undergraduate course in the Department emphasis on basic and contemporary skills in programming, Software Engineering, Design and analysis of Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Graphics, Database management system and Networking Technologies. The Department provides exposure to new technologies & also the futuristic domain like Cloud computing, Network security & Mobile Communication Technology.

Department also focus on the state of the art projects to be developed by students. Also department provides various technical and soft skills sessions through workshops, Seminars, Paper presentations & Expert Lectures.

Department believes in providing regressive industrial and campus preparation training to the students for improving employability.

Programme Educational Objectives

PEO-01 Technical Expertise: Implement fundamental domain knowledge of core courses for developing effective computing solutions by incorporating creativity and logical reasoning.
PEO-02 Successful Career: Deliver professional services with updated technologies in computer science based career.
PEO-03 Soft Skills:Develop leadership skills and incorporate ethics, team work with effective communication & time management in the profession.
PEO-04 Life Long Learning: Conduct research among computing professionalas per market needs.

Programme Specific Outcomes

PSO-01 Apply standard Software Engineering practices in real-time software project development.
PSO-02 Design and develop computer programs in the areas related to algorithms, networking, web design, cloud computing, IoT, AI, ML and data analytics of varying complexity.

B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering is a four year professional undergraduate program which is focused on producing quality engineers capable of applying knowledge in design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based system. The main objectives of the B.Tech. (CSE) program is to produce engineers who are well prepared for Multi-National Industry with necessary advance competency to be successful in engineering/entrepreneurship careers.

M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering is a postgraduate program belonging to the computer engineering branch of studies. A full-time program spans across two years and is generally divided into four semesters. The areas of advance study included within this program are System Integration, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, Information Security, Advanced Database Management, Computer Graphics and Visualisation, and others.

He worked in various positions as Headed Skill Development Cell, Dean Academics, and Convener Computer Maintenance Cell. He has more than 21 years of teaching experience. He obtained his B.E. (Computers) from SES College of Engineering-Kopargaon, University of Pune in the year 1998, M.Tech. Hons. (CSE) from Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (S.A.T.I.)-Vidisha, RGPV Bhopal.
